Mission Statement: to fill the need in the entertainment industry for clean, entertaining, page turning stories by equipping writers to be their very best through encouragement, constructive criticism, and continual learning of our craft.
Who: writers age 20 and beyond. It’s open for seasoned writers, novice, and anyone who has an idea for a good story, movie, or sitcom.
What: share ideas, give constructive criticism, and encouragement in our respective crafts.
When: On baby break...plan to resume in 2009!
Where: Christian Life in the Conference Room
How: by not settling for second best, half rate, amateur products.
Overactive Imaginations will:
- Not rely on mediocre story telling, but stories that will make you want to read the next page, and the next, and the next
- Not rely on profanity, but competent dialog
- Not rely on crude humor, but clean, witty humor that is actually funny.
- Not rely on explicit sex just to make a buck
Overactive Imaginations will be about entertainment - Good and Clean. Period!
