Garry and his wife, Lisa, have been at Christian Life since 1996. He has worked in state government and served in several ministries before joining the staff of Christian Life.
His pastoral ministries include overseeing the development of Charis Community Development Corporation.
Garry received a BA in Psychology from Winthrop University and a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia International Universities’ biblical seminary and graduate school of missions. He recently was awarded a Doctoral Degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Revival and Social Reform.
Dr. James, is the author of “Drying Silent Tears” and a co-founder of the ministry; Children and Adult Survivors of Trauma, Inc. (CAST, Inc.). Through conferences, seminars, and workshops, the CAST, Inc. ministry staff offers biblical solutions for issues related to child maltreatment, abortion, domestic violence, PTSD and the empowerment of disenfranchised individuals in an effort to protect and restore the most precious gift of all: the gift of life.
Family: Garry and Lisa have 2 children.
Passion: His major passion is to serve as a facilitator between the faith community, government, and corporations to improve communities worldwide.
Favorite Pastime: In his spare time, Garry enjoys playing golf, fishing, hunting, reading, and exercising.
