JBQ (Junior Bible Quiz)
We meet Sunday mornings from 9-10:15 in Room 151 for practice and one Saturday each month (Oct-April) to compete against other churches. JBQ is open for children in 2nd thru 6th grades.

The Meaning of
Junior Bible Quiz

Junior Bible Quiz offers a fun, exciting way to motivate children to understand the all-important truths in God’s Word. They do this by:
Cooperative learning – Children work together on teams of two to six to learn and understand the questions and answers from the Bible Fact-Pak.
Cooperative competition – Children meet with other teams from other churches to have a fun quizzing match. There are 20 questions in a match, with two teams of quizzers trying to beat each other to the buzzers to get the first shot at the answers.
Purpose
Junior Bible Quiz was created in 1978 and designed to help children develop a love for the Bible and an understanding that its truth can guide their lives daily.
The Four “F” of Junior Bible Quiz
Fun – Junior Bible Quiz offers a fun avenue for children to study at their own level. The success of this program includes exciting competition principles children enjoy.
Facts – The Bible Fact-Pak is a teaching tool to help children learn and assimilate important truths about the Bible, mastering its great teachings.
Fellowship – Studying Bible Fact-Pak questions and answers with family and friends provides rich Christian fellowship. This fellowship is broadened as the children quiz in meets and make friends with children from other churches.
Faithfulness - Faithfulness is a great virtue taught through quizzing. Junior Bible Quiz is a program in which children learn self-discipline and accountability.
